Meet Ms. Corrigan
Peyton is an experienced educator, instructional coach, and master teacher with a passion for transforming math instruction through student-centered, culturally responsive practices. With seven years of classroom experience and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Learning, Peyton has led high-impact work across K–5 settings, supporting teachers in delivering inclusive, discourse-rich math instruction.
Having worked her entire career in under-resourced communities, Peyton has helped elevate student strengths and raise test scores across subject matters by using Cognitively Guided Instruction. As a mentor and instructional leader, Peyton has guided new and veteran educators in creating equitable learning environments that meet the needs of diverse student populations. She has been featured as an exemplary mathematics instructor on a nationally distributed video platform, recognized for her use of instructional routines, facilitation of mathematical discourse, and implementation of high-quality, student-centered curriculum.
Peyton’s work as a K–5 mathematics instructional coach and master teacher reflects her commitment to empowering educators and improving outcomes in high-need areas.
